amaa wines
amaa means home in the kalapuya language and is pronounced awe-ma. amaa is owned and operated by david harrelson. david is kalapuya, the indigenous people of the willamette valley located in oregon, usa. as the willamette valley has become known globally for the high quality of wine produced here, it is with curiosity and responsibility of place that david feels a calling to learn, share, and contextualize tribal understandings of place as they relate to and are connected with making wine in the willamette valley.
Whale Shark Wines
Whale Shark Wines is a boutique winemaking project by Tyson Hood dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the craft. While widely known for producing "fruit wines for wine drinkers"—dry, structured, and sophisticated expressions of local Oregon blackberries and strawberries—the heart of the project is rooted in the mastery of traditional vinification.
