Southern Oregon Wine Institute at Umpqua Community College is teaming up with ETS Laboratories and Oregon State University Extension Service to present a technical symposium on March 8, 9 and 10 with expert instruction on recognizing, diagnosing and preventing common winemaking flaws.

This interactive and educational symposium will be repeated at the following three locations: March 8, 1 to 5 p.m., OSU Southern Oregon Research & Extension Center, 569 Hanley Rd., Central Point; March 9, 1 to 5 p.m., Roseburg Country Club, 5051 Garden Valley Rd., Roseburg; March 10, 1 to 5 p.m., King Estate Winery, 80854 Territorial Rd., Eugene.

Fee for individual sessions of the symposium is $25. Registration is available at www.sowicellars.com or www.tickets.umpqua.edu or by phone at 541-440-4629.
