Farm Dinner Series Goes Statewide

Farm to Fork Events quickly sold out its debut season last year by offering elegantly rustic culinary experiences at ranches, orchards and produce farms throughout the Rogue Valley. This June through October, founder Matthew Domingo and his team of noted Oregon chefs will also create five-course, wine-paired feasts at small working farms in the Willamette and Hood River valleys.

Ken Muller of Rogue Valley Brambles is raising a special duck for the season premiere at Fry Family Farm in Talent on June 11 ($75). Abacela is the featured winery.

Success has not uprooted Chef Domingo’s original mission to support sustainable, local food and wine.

“When our guests see the farms, meet the farmers and winemakers, and hear their stories, we hope they will pay more attention to issues affecting Oregon agriculture,” said Domingo, a graduate of the Oregon Culinary Institute and the University of Portland.
