Wild Mushroom Celebration

The James Beard Public Market, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization and public-private partnership, will host Wild Mushroom Celebration dinners from 7:30 – 10:30 pm, Nov. 5 – Nov. 7 at Higgins Restaurant & Bar.

As a celebration of the region’s diverse bounty and selection, these dinners will feature a special five course, vegetarian menu that showcases the versatile and complex flavors and textures of this year’s mushroom harvest. These dinners will also include regional wines that have been chosen to complement the deep and earthy flavors of the dishes.

The proceeds from the event will benefit The James Beard Public Market, a community led effort to build a daily, year-round public market on Portland’s waterfront. This public/private project will revitalize the central waterfront neighborhood with a “market district” for all Oregonians and our many visitors who will experience the region’s culinary riches.
