Weisinger's Fall Winemaker Dinner | Farm to Fork | Dundee
The grapes are ripe and plump on the vines, sunny afternoons lead to cool evenings, and the garden is vivacious with the new seasons' delights. It's the perfect time of year to draw up a chair to a family style meal, shared with old and new friends alike. Weisinger's of Ashland and Farm to Fork invite you to spend a special evening dining on locally sourced dishes and wines. Each course features the current fall bounty, and is carefully paired with a favorite (or yet unreleased) Weisinger's Wine. Join in for an event that will reveal the splendor of Southern Oregon's food and wine cornucopia!
Menu: Amuse: Abbie Lane Farm Winter Squash Soup with Curried Creme Fraiche and 2009 Viognier. Small Plate: Salad of Blue Fox Farm Fennel, Apples and Quince with 2008 Barrel Chardonnay (unreleased wine!). Small Plate: Southern Oregon Wild Mushrooms with 2006 Petite Pompadour. Main: Salant Ranch spice-braised Beef with Blue Fox Farm Celery Root Puree, Happy Dirt Veggie Patch Tomato Jam and Crispy Shallots with 2006 Cabernet Syrah (unreleased wine!). Dessert: Vaughn Farm Pear Pandowdy with Wild Huckleberries and 2007 Barile (fortified Cabernet Sauvignon dessert wine).
