Southern Oregon Technical Symposium "Focus on Fermentation"

Current Topics in Oregon Winemaking, July 2011 "Focus on Fermentation"

The Southern Oregon Wine Institute at Umpqua Community College, together with ETS Laboratories, Scott Laboratories and Oregon State University Extension Service, present a technical symposium on July 19, 20, and 21. Expert instruction on fermentation techniques and products provides winemakers with superior knowledge and support for crafting new vintages. The event will be repeated at each of three separate locations in the Rogue Valley, Umpqua Valley, and Southern Willamette regions as follows:

Rogue Valley Session: Tuesday, July 19 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the OSU, Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center, 569 Hanley Road, Central Point.

Umpqua Valley Session: Wednesday, July 20 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 at Umpqua Community College, 1140 Umpqua College Road, Technology Building 119, Roseburg.

Southern Willamette Session: Thursday, July 21 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Lane Community College Center for Meeting & Learning, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Building 19 202.
