Start off Labor Day Weekend by celebrating Summer and enjoying great wines, food, and music in a beautiful setting when Salem Concert Band performs it's 3rd Annual Season-Opener & Summer Concert!Salem Concert Band returns to Youngberg Hill Vineyards & Inn, located on top of a 720 ft. hill southwest of McMinnville. Enjoy the stunning panoramic view of the valley, wonderful red and white wines and great food while Salem Concert Band performs a program of blues, popular, and All-American music. John Skelton is the conductor and soprano Rebecca Fromherz is the guest soloist. Youngberg Hill will offer beverages for sale and a gourmet box dinner by Creative Catering from Roth’s Fine Markets may be purchased in advance of the show. The seating is lawn seating—bring your own lawn chair or blanket. The event is rain or shine; there is limited space inside a tent in case of a rain shower. Seating and food & beverage service opens at 6:00 pm; the concert will start at 6:45 and finish at 8:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased on the band’s website www.salemconcertband.org now, they will be mailed after August 1. Box dinners need to be purchased by Wednesday, August 28. Fee: $concert tickets $20, pre ordered box lunches (optional) $10
