KANPAI!Empty Your Glass For Japan Tasting

Kanpai! is a saké tasting event established and supported by Portland-area saké professionals and enthusiasts seeking to raise awareness and funds to help the survivors of Japan’s devastating earthquake and tsunami. The venue, 40 to 50 sakés, food from several local restaurants, music and staffing have all generously been donated, allowing every dollar raised to go directly to support Mercy Corps relief efforts. A silent auction will also be available at the event with all sale proceeds being contributed to Mercy Corps Japan Earthquake Fund. Time: 5 to 8 p.m. Fee: $30 (100-percent tax-deductible donation).
