Celebration Oregon!
The Oregon State Fair is once again playing host to Celebration Oregon!, the awards ceremony and tasting event for the only all-Oregon wine competition in the Beaver State. Held from 6 to 9 pm on August 27 – the opening night of the fair – in the fairgrounds’ beautiful Hart of the Garden, the evening pays tribute to award-winning professional Oregon wineries and wines —a culmination of the wine competition held in July. The winners of the Best of Class and Best of Show awards will be announced.
In addition to attending the awards ceremony, wine lovers can taste more than 150 different award-winning Oregon wines, plus sample gourmet delights by Oregon chefs. A silent auction will be held benefiting the Agri-Business Council of Oregon’s “Keeping Ag Viable” program.
Celebration Oregon! general admission tickets are $50; for $65 per person, patrons can attend the VIP preview held from 5 to 6 pm. Both tickets include Fair admission and are available through Ticketswest.com and www.aglink.org. $5 of every ticket sold through the Agri-Business Council of Oregon website will benefit “Keeping Ag Viable.”
