Neighboring Wineries Unite for the 3rd Annual Calkins Lane Block Party at Lachini Vineyards Villa
Nine Willamette Valley wineries collaborate once again to celebrate spring in one of Oregon’s most
distinctive wine destinations.
Newberg, Oregon – Nestled in the Chehalem Mountains, Calkins Lane has quietly earned a reputation
as one of the Willamette Valley’s most compelling wine tasting destinations. On Saturday, April 25,
2026, nine neighboring wineries will once again come together to celebrate this special enclave of
Willamette Valley wine country with the annual Calkins Lane Block Party, hosted this year at Lachini
Vineyards, located at 18225 NE Calkins Lane, Newberg, Oregon 97132.
Stretching just a mile and a half, Calkins Lane is home to over 150 acres of vineyard plantings and an
extraordinary uniqueness of soils, elevations, and south facing sun exposure. These unique growing
conditions allow the wineries along the lane to produce a remarkable range of wines while sharing a
deep sense of place and community.
The Calkins Lane Block Party offers guests the rare opportunity to taste wines from each participating
winery in one location while experiencing the beauty of the surrounding vineyards.
To ensure a relaxed and intimate tasting experience, the event will be offered in two sessions, allowing
guests ample time to explore the wines and engage with the winemakers and principals.
Session One: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM Session Two: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Each winery will pour two selected wines, offering attendees the opportunity to discover distinct
varietals, styles and expressions produced along Calkins Lane.
Each ticket includes curated bites thoughtfully prepared to complement the wines being poured, making
this one of the best tasting experiences and values of the spring season.
Tickets are $65 for the general public and $50 for wine club members, with attendance limited to 100
guests per session to maintain a high quality guest experience.
Guests will also receive a $40 tasting credit, redeemable at one participating winery of their choice
following the event, encouraging visitors to continue exploring Calkins Lane and supporting the
wineries throughout the remainder of 2026.
In addition to celebrating wine, the event will support an important cause. A charity raffle will benefit
UNITUS, the Willamette Valley arm of P.E.R.K., with proceeds supporting programs that uplift and
empower communities within the wine and hospitality industry.
