August Wine Club Re-Tasting

We'll have all four of our August Wine Club selections from Odisea Winery open for sampling tonight from 5:30 to 7:30. Yes, back by popular demand is an Odisea Wine Club! If you missed the tasting earlier this month, now's your chance to try them! Here's the line-up: Primary Red is the 2010 Unusual Suspects blend of Carignane, Tempranillo, Grenache and Cinsault; a ripe and supple red wine from 60+ year old vines. The Primary White is the 2011 Petite Cochon Blanc, a blend of Marsanne, Vermentino, Grenache Blanc, Viognier and Roussane that is crisp and racy with bright fruit and savory spice. The Secondary Red is the 2010 Veritable Quandary Red, a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Graciano, Carignan, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah and Tempranillo that is bright and juicy, but full-bodied with lots of texture and has a velvety, plush finish. The Secondary White, a new vintage, but back again for the 4th time, is the 2012 Cochon Old Vine Rosé! The Rosé is a blend of Grenache Gris, Cinsault and Carignan and is a lovely pale peach color with bright and refreshing flavors. We were unable to get The Temp again for Wine Club, as it is in short supply, but we'll try to have some on-hand in the shop. Free Tasting for Wine Club Members; $5 all other guests.
