Applegate River Wine Fest
This annual fundraiser for the Greater Applegate Community Development Corporation--a 503(C)(3) non-profit--will also benefit the Williams and Applegate schools. The popular event is held on the banks of the beautiful Applegate River at Cantrall-Buckley Park, Hamilton Rd., just west of Ruch off State Highway 238. Local wineries and restaurants sponsor wine tasting and gourmet appetizers. Live music. Register on line at www.gacdc.org. Tickets are $25.
