The Winner Is…

San Francisco International Wine Competition, the largest, most influential international wine competition in America, just released its 2010 results.

This year, SFIWC’s judges — a 46-person panel of nationally recognized wine experts — evaluated wines from 27 countries and 28 states. Of the 3,897 wines entered, only 160 double-gold medals were issued; a double-gold is awarded when all judges on a particular panel agree that a wine deserves a gold medal. Del Rio Vineyards, located in the Rogue Valley, was Oregon’s sole double-gold winner. Following are all of Oregon’s winners in this year’s competition:
