South Comes North

Southern Oregon wineries are soon to head north for the Southern Oregon Winery Association’s public tasting event in Portland on Sunday, Nov. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Portland Art Museum (1219 S.W. Park Avenue).

Winemakers and owners will showcase more than 100 of the best wines unique to the region, including Albariño, Viognier, Roussanne, Tempranillo, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and other eclectic blends.

Tickets cost $39 and can be purchasesd at www.sorwa.org.

A trade tasting event is scheduled for the following day, Monday, Nov. 14, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Davis Street Tavern, 500 N.W. Davis Street.
