The Oregon Wine Board and industry members are set to celebrate Oregon Wine Month during May with a variety of promotions being offered throughout the state at participating restaurants, wine shops, hotels, wineries and more.

Also in May, Zephyr Adventures, organizer of the annual Wine Tourism Conference, will celebrate the first-ever Wine Tourism Day in North America on Saturday, May 11. Participating wineries, hotels, restaurants and other businesses will offer a variety of events to the public to promote the visitation of wine areas and its economic impact.

“Wine tourism is very important to the success of many local economies and is a subject worth commemorating,” says Zephyr Adventures president Allan Wright.
