Say YES to Yum

In commemoration of Yamhill County’s culinary bounty, the Yamhill Enrichment Society has created Bounty of the County, a multi-course dinner at Sokol Blosser Winery in Dayton on Sept. 9, at 5:30 p.m.

Twenty area chefs will create a meal using local, seasonal, sustainably grown ingredients and paired with featured wines from Adelsheim, Argyle, Bergström, Domaine Drouhin, Sokol Blosser, Soter, Stoller and Winderlea. 

Participating restaurants include: Bistro Maison, Bon Appetit, Community Plate, Dundee Bistro, Golden Valley Brew Pub, Harvest Fresh, Joel Palmer House, JORY at The Allison, La Rambla, Nick’s Italian Café, Painted Lady, Paulée, Recipe, Red Fox Bakery, Red Hills Market, Red Hills Provincial Dining, Ribslayer, Ruby Cakes, Thistle and Tina’s. 

Farmers include: 47th Avenue Farm, Baird Family Farm, Briar Rose Creamery, Dundee Fruit Company, Evergreen Orchards, Gaining Ground Farm, Greenwillow Grains, Kookoolan Farm, Oakhill Organics, Oregon Olive Mill, The Collective and Yamhill Valley Mushrooms. 

Tickets are $125 and can be purchased online at www.yamhillenrichmentsociety.org.

Proceeds will benefit the Yamhill Enrichment Society (YES), a nonprofit whose mission is to build community by supporting projects in arts and education, food and agriculture, and history and community.
