Wine for Japan fundraiser for Mercycorps / Hotel Monaco / Portland
An exclusive wine themed fundraising event to provide relief for Japan. Seven outstanding wine makers will be on hand pouring their wines. Hors d'oeuvres from the Red Star Tavern will be served throughout the tasting. We're featuring musical stylings by John Wayland Harr. Biggio Hamina Cellars, Dion Vineyard, Ghost Hill Cellars, Grochau Cellars, Long Play Wine, Seufert Winery, Solena Estate. We're excited to also have a local distillery too! New Deal Distillery All wines will be available for sale with a portion of the proceeds donated to MercyCorps. A silent auction will be held. Donations for the auction are welcome. If you would like to donate please send us an e-mail at wineforjapan@gmail.com. 100% of silent auction proceeds will be donated to MercyCorps. Fee: $50 (in advance); $60 (at the door).
