Jeff Cochell is a premiere Fingerstyle guitarist from Portland, Oregon. Jeff studied Fingerstyle guitar under Grammy-award winner Mark Hanson of Accent on Music. http://www.accentonmusic.com. Growing up Jeff was first influenced listening to the songwriting of Bob Dylan and the guitar playing of Jimmy Page. He then immersed himself in Fingerstyle guitar after hearing players such as Jorma Kaukonen, John Fahey, Christopher Parkening, Leo Kottke, and Lindsey Buckingham. He later grew an appreciation for older Delta Blues guitarists such as Mississippi John Hurt and Reverand Gary Davis . Jeff's styles range from Classical, Jazz, Folk, Original instrumentals, Delta & Country Blues, Ragtime, Bluegrass to Contemporary Pop. Jeff also performs Christmas music for holiday and seasonal events.
