Björnson Vineyard sits on volcanic Jory and Nekia soils, planted between ~450–550 feet on predominantly southwest-facing slopes on the east side of the Eola-Amity Hills. Our 28-acre estate vineyard’s combination of shallow volcanic soils, elevation, aspect, and pronounced diurnal temperature shifts produces wines with intensity, vibrancy, and structure. We farm meticulously using Certified Sustainable practices and regenerative, no-till methods. We strive to harvest each variety at its optimal ripeness, allowing us to handle it minimally in the cellar.
We own a second property, Pamar Vineyard, in the Van Duzer Corridor AVA, where we grow 13 unique varieties, including Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc, Modeuse Noire, and the Western Hemisphere's only commercial planting of Gouais Blanc. Care for the Land, Make Exceptional Wine, Enjoy the Journey!
