3 Goats Vineyard

3 Goats Vineyard is the love story of high school sweethearts Candice and Chris Plewik. Their private estate vineyard is located in the Tualatin Hills AVA, and their urban tasting room is in Historic Downtown Hillsboro. 

Their logo and brand are inspired by their 3 goats, named after S’mores: Marshmallow (Melly), Graham, and Hershel (Hershey’s chocolate). These goats symbolized their humble beginning as farmers and entrepreneurs, signifying a new and exciting chapter.

After handplanting one acre of Pinot Noir in 2018, they made their first wine in 2020 - just 50 cases of Chardonnay. Candice and Chris sold wine direct-to-consumer, often answering orders through Social Media messages, text messages, and emails, driving one hour to hand deliver one bottle of wine. Today, they average 2,000 cases a year and still sell direct-to-consumer through their tasting room.

Candice and Chris pride themselves on being self-made - no legacy of winemaking, inherited land, or wine industry experience. Coming from families with strong traditions, blended cultures, and genuine hospitality, they forged their own path and aligned themselves with mentors, taking each step forward with intention and purpose. 

Specializing in different varietals not often found in the Willamette Valley, Candice and Chris invite you to experience “approachable luxury” in their chic tasting room in Historic Downtown Hillsboro. Located in a district close to numerous multi-cultural restaurants and community festivities, 3 Goats Vineyard is also easy to visit, as there’s plenty of free street parking, nearby E/V charging stations, and is located steps from public transit.
