The Greatest

This year’s Greatest of the Grape, March 3 at Seven Feathers Casino in Canyonville, continues its annual quest to celebrate the wines of the Umpqua Valley and just beyond. In its 42nd year, the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association event is the oldest of its kind in Oregon.

Attendees are encouraged to sample the various wines paired with appetizers at 28 different wine and food tables, and vote for their favorites in the People’s Choice Award category.

Winners of the wine competition will be announced at the March event.

The events begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $75 and are available at www.umpquavalleywineries.org. They can also be purchased by phone or in person at Abacela, Henry Estate, Melrose, RoxyAnn or Pedotti’s.
