OWFBF Winners

The wine competition held in conjunction with the 29th annual Oregon Wine, Food & Brew Festival awarded 27 medal winners and featured 102 different wines. The competition was sponsored by Seattle Tacoma Box Company and was produced for the Festival by the Oregon Wine Press.

Judges for the competition included: Patrick McElligott, director of sales and marketing for Sineann in Newberg and instructor at the Northwest Viticulture Center in Salem; Jack Czarnecki, co-founder of Joel Palmer House in Dayton and Oregon truffle authority; Boris Wiedenfeld, manager/wine buyer for Sundance Wine Cellars and Oregon Wine Merchants; Meg Murray, owner of Elevage Consulting; Gary Kneski, co-owner of Thirst Wine Bar & Bistro in Portland; and Karl Klooster, OWP associate editor.
