Oregon Wine App

The Oregon Wine Board is releasing a new mobile wine tour app just in time for the Thanksgiving Weekend.  Created as both a consumer information tool and a way-finding device, the app uses a phone’s built-in GPS to give users turn-by-turn directions to every winery in the state.

“Not only does the web app get you there,” said OWB’s director of communications, Charles Humble, “it also provides information about the wines, vineyards, visiting hours... It’s the definitive mobile Oregon wine guide.”

The information is kept current using a database system that allows wineries to update it in real time.

The mobile Oregon Wine Map was developed by OWB with help from LynkSnap, a local mobile marketing agency, and Site Crafting, an advanced web development company.

Oregon Wine Map can be accessed by your mobile device’s web browser at www.oregonwinemap.org or by scanning the above Oregon Wine Map QR code.
