Landon Advances

Years of study and five days of intense examination culminated on Oct. 14 with 14 new names being added to the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas’ distinguished list of Advanced Sommeliers.

Included in the list was Erica Landon of Bruce Carey Restaurants/The Heathman Restaurant & Bar in Portland.

Several thousand industry professionals participate in the organization’s exams on a yearly basis, though only 186 worldwide have ever attained Master Sommelier status.
