Bid Upon a Star

The McMinnville Education Foundation will host its sixth annual Starry Night at Stoller Vineyards in Dayton, July 23.

The evening’s under-the-stars agenda includes a sparkling wine reception, silent auction, traditional salmon bake prepared by Dundee Bistro’s Chris Flanagan, live auction and live music by the Sonny Hess Band - dancing encouraged.

Tickets cost $100 and include dinner, entertainment and wine. The event begins at 6 p.m.

All proceeds go to benefit the McMinnville Education Foundation, a nonprofit providing local schoolteachers with resources to improve classroom education in public schools.

“This is one of the most exciting and well planned events in Oregon wine country,” said Jeff Knapp, hospitality manager at Sokol Blosser in Dayton.
