On Aug. 5, Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber signed into law a bill that allows Oregon to begin offering a wine specialty license plate to state motorists. The plates will cost $30 more than a standard Oregon plate and are expected to be available January 2012. The plates depict a vineyard scene with the words “Oregon Wine Country.”
