Ted Farthing, Executive Director of the Oregon Wine Board and the Oregon Winegrowers Association since May of 2004, has resigned. An e-mail release sent as this issue went to press stated that Farthing is leaving to pursue a career as a marketing consultant. There were no specifics in regard to the resignation or his future plans.
Sam Tannahill, chairman of the Oregon Wine Board and president of the Oregon Winegrowers Association, is stepping in as Interim Director. He said the board wishes Farthing well.
