Altruistic Trio

Neighboring Gaston wineries ADEA Wine Company, Elk Cove Vineyards and Kramer Vineyards have joined together to give local schools a much-needed boost.

Called Trio of Vino, the now-annual event is a fundraiser for the Yamhill-Carlton Education Foundation. On Feb. 18–19, all three wineries will donate 100 percent of tasting fees to the foundation. Tasters will have a chance to sample a variety of wines for only $20.

All proceeds will be used for scholarships, extracurricular activities, instructional materials and additional resources that benefit students and staff in the Yamhill-Carlton School District.
