Uncorked Wine Auction
Uncorked Wine Auction on May 14, 2016, raises crucial funding for Family Building Blocks. Since the event’s inception in 2008, Uncorked has raised more than 2 and a half million dollars to support Family Building Blocks. With over 400 guests in attendance each year, we’ve captured an audience that has a passion for wine, but more importantly, a heart for children. 100% of the money raised at Uncorked goes to FBB.
At Family Building Blocks we "Keep Children Safe and Families Together" by strengthening the whole family. Last year, we served 732 families and 1,025 children who were at risk of abuse or neglect. We help parents overcome toxic stress by visiting them in their homes and providing resources to improve their circumstances. We work with their children age newborn to 5 in our therapeutic classrooms- an environment that boosts brain development, growth, and healthy attachment. This combination keeps children safely in their homes with their parents, thus avoiding the traumatic effects of foster care.
