The Heathman Restaurant & Bar 13th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Festival
The Heathman Restaurant & Bar will host Portland’s 13th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Festival, the largest celebration of its kind on the West Coast, on Friday, Nov. 21. The event, presented by the French-American Chamber of Commerce and the Alliance Française of Portland, will begin at 6 p.m. in the Tea Court and will carry over into all the rooms on the Mezzanine level of The Heathman Restaurant & Bar.
The tastings will be complemented by a French-inspired buffet featuring Sylvie grass-fed beef, roast pig, lamb, charcuterie, cheese and desserts. News anchor Russ Lewis of KGW News Channel 8 will be the master of ceremonies with live music, games and raffles featured throughout the evening.
The Heathman Restaurant & Bar’s celebration of this iconic wine region and tradition reflects the restaurant’s French influences and heritage. Executive Chef Michael Stanton’s contemporary interpretations of classic French cuisine showcase the character and quality of fresh Pacific Northwest ingredients, while the Heathman’s legendary wine cellar champions a French focus in addition to its local Oregon list.
Fee: $70 per person. A limited number of $55 tickets are available for young professionals (ages 21-35) who are first-time attendees, and a few VIP tables seating eight are available for $1,250.
