The Dundee Hills Vintage Tour

Each year the winemakers of the Dundee Hills convene to taste and review the prior year’s vintage. Despite the climactic challenges of the 2013 harvest, the wines have emerged showcasing the talents and experience of the AVA’s winemakers as well as the beauty of true Oregon pinot noirs. Our Wineries will be featuring some of their finest 2013 wines and many will offer the opportunity to taste their selection for the exclusive 2013 Dundee Hills Vintage Collection.

Notes from the 2013 winemakers’ technical tasting offer these insights:

“The Pinots are very clean, with well-integrated tannins and tremendous finesse.”
“Food friendly wines with nice acidity, pleasant roundness and longevity.”
“Lower-octane wines with moderate alcohol levels (13%) and spritely mouthfeel.”
“Wines that show the site, with less opulent fruit giving way to earthy, smoky subtly spicy undercurrents.”
“A true Oregon vintage, with challenging weather and wines that are fresh and vibrant.”

We are pleased to present the following 2013 Dundee Hills Vintage Collection wineries who will showcase their Collection offering during this special weekend. (Domaine Drouhin will be pouring an alternate wine selection)

There are no tickets to purchase, simply come out, visit the wineries and enjoy the wine. (regular tasting fees apply.)
