Join us for an unforgettable Valentine's celebration of wine, food, dance, and live music at Penner-Ash Wine Cellars on Friday, February 10, 2012.This unique event will bring together the culinary skills of acclaimed Portland Chef John Gorham, owner of Toro Bravo, and world renowned tango dancer and instructor, Alex Krebs, here at Penner-Ash for an evening you won't soon forget.The evening will begin with a reception in the Fireside Room with wine and passed appetizers. From there, we will move onto the Fermentation Deck for a Tapas style dinner specially created by Chef Gorham for this event.Following dinner, Alex Krebs and his dance partner, backed by the four piece live band, The Alex Krebs Tango Quartet, willperform a Tango demonstration; emphasizing the improvisationalside of the dance that focuses on the communication betweenmusicality and the relationship between the partners.We will finish the evening by opening up the dance floor to allwho are moved to express themselves through Tango!Seating is limited.
