Some Decanted Evening

The beautiful Youngberg Hill Vineyard and Inn will set the stage for an evening of familiar songs from the musical theater when the Salem Concert Band presents Some Decanted Evening on Sunday, August 21, 2016. ..including selections from My Fair Lady, Cabaret, The Producers, and music by Andrew Lloyd Weber, Cole Porter, and Lerner and Loewe. Jeff Witt will join the band as the vocal soloist with such favorites as “Some Enchanted Evening” (South Pacific), “Bring Him Home” (Les Misérables), and “Over the Rainbow” (The Wizard of Oz).

The stunning setting among the vineyards has made this summer event for the band an audience favorite for the past five years. The concert will take place rain or shine on the lawn at the vineyard. Wine and other beverages will be available for purchase from Youngberg Hill Vineyards—please no outside beverages (but then, who would want to bring any?). Bring a lawn chair or blanket and sit back for an evening of award-winning wine, beautiful music, and a gourmet meal.

The Youngberg Hill Vineyards & Inn is located at 10660 SW Youngberg Hill Road, in McMinnville. Tickets for the concert are available beginning soon for $25. A gourmet boxed dinner prepared by Roth’s Fresh Catering will again be available for pre-order at a price of $10. Tickets and dinners may be purchased here on the Salem Concert Band website. You can also order tickets or get more information at 503-362-0485. Tickets will also be available at the event, but dinners must be pre-ordered.
