Live Music: Signatures

Signatures combines the sounds of ‘40s style groups, pop, free jazz vocalizing and also draws from the touching harmonies of Simon and Garfunkel, the country rock sound of The Eagles, and the inventive, dynamic arrangements of Earth, Wind and Fire.  Listening toSignatures is pure musical joy and their spontaneous humor delights audiences. These ladies are intelligent and witty, and are not afraid to let it show on stage.  Whether it’s a discussion of who gets to sing a song by which female singer in the “Diva Request” portion of the show, or whose outfit could use a little fine-tuning, the fun abounds, with the ladies ofSignatures bringing the audience along for the ride.  Rarely does a vocal group have four gifted female soloists, each with the ability to step to the fore to lead, and then blend back into the ensemble to support the whole. This is one such group. Each one is a headliner in her own right, with her own unique signature.
