Harvest Celebration

Join us to celebrate the end of summer and anticipate the beginning of the harvest season.  We have invited some wonderful local artisans and farmers to join us to share their bounty. Bide-A-Wee Farm breeds and raises Jacob and Navajo-Churro sheep, both considered 'threatened breeds' by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.    They sell registered breeding stock, meat, wool, yarn and sheepskins.   Their lambs are born and raised on the farm and their diet consists solely of pasture grass and locally raised grass and alfalfa hay.  They don't receive grain and are never given growth hormones or antibiotics.  You will have the opportunity to meet the owners Karen and Doug, and purchase cuts of both lamb and goat, or place an order to fill your freezer for this winter.  Few things pair better than lamb and Pinot noir. Gourmet sauces and Truffle Oil from Jack Czarnecki, founder of the Joel Palmer House, one of Oregon's premier restaurants. Delicious Gluten free snacks and recipes from The Gluten Free Cowgirl, Sarah Hahn. Finally, by popular demand, we will be bringing back the Sorbet maker for some delicious, adults-only, Pinot blanc/Raspberry sorbet.  Don't miss it! Saturday, September 15 from 11-5pm.  $10 tasting fee, complimentary admission for Cellar Door Club members and up to 4 guests.
