Earth Day & Vineyard Anniversary Open House

Earth Day is the official anniversary of the vineyard at Amalie Robert Estate and this year is our Sweet 16. Along with the help of some good friends, we completed planting our first 10 acres of vines on Earth Day at the turn of the century. That was 16 years ago. My, time flies like an arrow (but fruit flies like a banana!)

The Earth Day Open House weekend is Saturday, April 23rd and Sunday, April 24th from 10 am – 3 pm. And the weekend is devoted to Wadenswil Clone Pinot Noir. If you purchased 2013 futures last Earth Day, they have been bottled, sporting fresh labels, shiny new capsules, and are ready to be tasted and picked up this weekend!

In addition to tasting the 2013 Wadenswil Clone Pinot Noir, Ernie will be offering samples of the soon to be bottled 2014 Wadenswil Clone Pinot Noir. The 2014 vintage can be purchased this weekend as futures, and will be released at our Earth Day Open House in 2017. We will also be releasing our crisp and clean, spine tingling 2015 Her Silhouette Chardonnay and 2015 Pinot in Pink Rosé. Here is the weekend tasting program:

The tasting fee is $15, refundable with a 2 bottle purchase per person. A-List members with up to 4 guests will enjoy a complimentary tasting. All case purchases (including mix and match) receive a 10% discount (A-List members receive a 20% discount.) And there is always a free cork in every bottle!
