DaVinci’s Sommelier Showdown | Milwaukie
We’ve invited two local wine stewards to go palate- to- palate in this fun- filled evening of wine pairing competition! You be the judge while enjoying a six- course meal with twelve different wines! Two (2) anonymous wine samples will be provided per course, one from each of the sommelier.
1st Course Appetizer- Goat Cheese Crostini: Crostini bread topped with roasted garlic, basil, prosciutto and fresh chieve goat cheese.
2nd Course Salad- Grilled Pear Salad: Organic arugula tossed together with grilled organic pears, pecans andRogue River caveman blue.
3rd Course Soup- Lobster Bisque
4th Course Entrée 1- Pan Seared Pork Chop: A 4oz Organic Cascade Hill pork chop topped with a green peppercorn sauce with sautéed spinach and scallop potato.
5th Course Entrée 2- Seared Scallops Scallops: seared and topped with a basil beurre blanc sauce, served with a
corn soufflé
6th Course Dessert- Flan: Traditional flan served with honey drizzle and topped with lavender
The wines will be available for sale at the end of the evening. We must have a minimum of 14 participants. Each participant must show proof of legal drinking age prior to dinner. Fee: $65.
