A Taste of Ashland 2013
A TASTE OF ASHLAND 2013 - Southern Oregon’s Premier Art, Food and Wine Event.
In its twenty-fourth year, the Ashland Gallery Associations signature event is A Taste of Ashland. This annual walking tour of Ashland galleries, pairs local restaurants and regional wineries in a delicious event. In 2013 A Taste of Ashland is on Saturday and Sunday, April 27th and 28th from noon to 4p.m. each day. Foodies and wine connoisseurs from all along the west coast follow a gallery map and food and beverage guide to discover Ashland’s best restaurants, the region’s best wines and local artist that are on display in 17 galleries throughout Ashland. Also, some of the galleries feature performances of local musicians and artists demonstrations for your enjoyment.
“A Taste of Ashland is the ultimate Ashland experience.” says, Jeff Jones, Event Coordinator. “Tasters get to stroll leasurly throught the quaint town of Ashland all afternoon experincing the best of Ashland art, food and wine. Then have time to nap and get to a Oregon Shakespeare Festival play in the evening! What could be better!”
Galleries are sprinkled in the plaza and along Main Street, plus several are located in the Historic Railroad District of 4th and A Streets. All galleries are within easy walking distance, but a shuttle will be provided on the entire route stopping at each gallery along the way.
Participants will receive a collectible wine glass and an event guide and map. You are encouraged to purchase tickets early as this is usually a sell out event.
