On the Hunt

Discover wine, food and art at this year’s Carlton Quest, June 11–12.

The Quest, a small town scavenger hunt presented by the Carlton Business Association, begins when participants obtain field guides from one of three locations: Melton Gallery (407 W. Main St., Carlton), Monks Gate Vineyard (9500 N.E. Oak Springs Farm Rd., Carlton) and Tyrus Evan at The Depot (120 S. Pine St., Carlton).

Ticket holders play the game by visiting participating Carlton businesses and collecting stamps by following clues to identify scavenger hunt items.

Players then return their stamped entry page at any of the stops to be eligible for one of three prize drawings (based on the number of stamps obtained). Prizes include wine, coupons and other donations.

A portion of the proceeds will be given to Carlton Together Cares.

Tickets (available at www.carltonquest.com) are $20 and include food and wine tastes. The event takes place 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
