Main Street Event

In the village tradition, Forest Grove will close Main Street, July 28, for its annual gourmet event, The Main Course. 

With a backdrop of historic buildings and the Pacific University campus, the event offers guests an opportunity to taste wines, sit down to a four-course meal, listen to live music, and meet and mingle with winemakers, local chefs and farmers. 

Dinner will feature the talents of chef Kathy Compton, owner of nearby 1910 Main, and chef Dolan Lane, executive chef at clarklewis in Portland — also participating are Grendel’s and Pacific University Catering. The menu will focus on farm-to-table cuisine and pair two wines with each course. Wineries include Apolloni, Montinore Estate, Patton Valley, Zimri, David Hill, SakéOne and others.
