Hursh Murray Hired as Raptor Ridge 'Flight Operator'

Meg Hursh Murray has joined the staff of Raptor Ridge Winery as Director of Flight Operations, according to Annie Shull, co-owner of the winery. Murray takes charge of direct sales, tasting room management, and the Raptor Ridge Wine Club, also known as “Flight Club” to fit the winery’s birds-of-flight theme. Murray joins the firm with nearly a decade of experience in distribution, direct sales, and wine industry public relations. Most recently she set up the Willamette Valley Wine Center in McMinnville.

“Meg will surely put her stamp on Raptor Ridge’s winery and tasting room facility,” said Shull. Raptor Ridge is a 6,500-case boutique winery in the Chehalem Mountains. The winery is building a larger facility on the Raptor Ridge Estate Vineyard, with plans for new operations to be open on Labor Day weekend 2010.
