Eastward Bound

June 15–16, the East Willamette Valley Wine Association will host its third annual New Release Festival at St. Josef’s Winery, featuring the latest wines from 11 Marion and Clackamas county wineries, including Vitis Ridge, Hanson, Piluso, Silver Falls and Pudding River.  

The Winemaker’s Gala, Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., includes an evening of fine hors d’oeuvres, live music and dozens of East Valley wines. The following day, the Grand Festival, noon to 6 p.m., comprises of an all-day tasting event with winemakers from Silverton, Woodburn, Molalla and beyond offering their wares. Meet the winemakers, try the latest releases and enjoy food and music.

St. Josef’s is located at 28836 S. Barlow Road, Canby. Tickets to both events are available at www.eastvalleywine.com and at all local member wineries. The price is $35 for Gala Evening; $10 for Grand Festival.
