Share & Pair Wine Dinner w/ Chef Jason West

As part of Oregon Wine Month, on Sunday, May 25th, at 6pm, we are thrilled to be hosting a wine pairing dinner with Chef Jason West, formerly of Departure, at our winery bar.

A Louisiana native, Executive Chef Jason West brings over 25 years of culinary experience and a deep-rooted passion for food to the kitchen. Inspired by the vibrant flavors of his Southern upbringing, Jason views every dish as a form of art—layered, expressive, and meant to tell a story.

Throughout his career, he has worked in renowned kitchens across the country, from the iconic Brennan’s in New Orleans to Portland’s own Departure Restaurant. His style is a bold fusion of regional influences and global technique, creating dishes that are both soulful and innovative.

Chef Jason has been recognized as a CultureMap “Rising Star Chef,” featured on the Travel Channel’s Food Paradise, and spotlighted in numerous local media appearances. With every plate, he invites guests to slow down, savor, and connect with the story behind the ingredients.

At the heart of Jason’s approach is a belief that food should be more than just sustenance—it should transport, inspire, bring to mind a core memory, and leave a lasting impression.
