Willamette Cares Food Drive at Left COast Cellars
Oregon wineries are working together this year to collect 2 00,000 pounds of food for the hungry in our communities. The goal at Le ft Coast is to collect 1,500 pounds of food for our local food bank, M arion-Polk Food Share.
Beginning November 1st when you visit our Tast ing Room and donate 5 or more non-perishable food items we will not only waive your tasting fee but you will be entered into a drawing for a Mag num of our 2012 Latitude 45 Pinot Noir (only 6 of these special bottles exist!).
We encourage our Wine Club members to donate during their visi ts so they have a chance to win too.
The food drive ends on December 20 th and we will announce our winner on December 22nd.
Did you know tha t monetary donations go even farther than food donations? The conversion is approximately $1 to four pounds of food! To best assist Marion-Polk Food Share this season we will be donating $1 from every paid admission to our two-day Thanksgiving Open House in our winery. We hope you will m ake plans to join us on Friday, November 28 from 10 am-5 pm (aka NOIR F RIDAY until 12:30 pm) or Saturday, Nov. 29 from 11 am-4 pm.
