Wine Trail Weekend April 10-11

North Willamette Vintners will host its Wine Trail Weekend April 10-11 in Washington County, just south of Portland. Visitors will be able to sip, taste and otherwise experience 21 wineries open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The event will include wine, food, education and other events for all levels of wine lovers.

For the $35 advance fee, visitors get a wine kit that includes a reusable wine tote, commemorative wine glass and a variety of coupons and discounts at local restaurants, hotels and participating wineries.  Throughout the weekend, ticket holders will enjoy tastings, wine pairings and activities including games, samples of green saké , acoustic blues and bluegrass music and a book signing by Nancy Ponzi, author of “The Ponzi Vineyards Cookbook.”

Tickets are $45 at the door of any participating Washington County winery. Designated driver tickets are $10. Tickets, information and maps are online at www.NWVintners.org.

Wineries included are: A Blooming Hill Vineyard, Adea Wine Company, Apolloni Vineyards, Cooper Mountain Vineyards, David Hill Vineyard & Winery, Elk Cove Vineyards, Garden Vineyards, Gresser Vineyards and Provincial Vineyards, Helvetia Vineyards, Albin Winery, Kramer Vineyards, Montinore Estate, Oak Knoll Winery and Beran Vineyards, Patton Valley, Plum Hill Vineyards, Ponzi Vineyards, Purple Cow Vineyards, SakéOne and Tualatin Estate Vineyards.
