Tapp Label continues acquisition path with the purchase of Metro Label

David Bowyer, CEO and Owner of Tapp Label Company, LLC, announces the acquisition of Metro Label, an industry leading label printing company founded in 1974. Metro Label specializes in high/decoration label, shrink/sleeve and flexible packaging markets for the wine, spirits, pharmaceutical, health, beauty, and other key industries. Clients are served throughout the USA, Canada, Central America and the Caribbean. Metro Label has received numerous awards for its environmental leadership in the label industry.

This fourth acquisition in less than a year for Tapp Label brings additional capabilities, Fortune 500 customers, and meets the goal of providing a dynamic East Coast location. Metro Label’s associates will benefit as a result of the strength of Tapp Label’s structure and focused investments which will drive future growth. Our customers will benefit due to the expanded capabilities of Tapp Label, in addition to the outstanding quality, responsiveness, and service consistently demonstrated by Metro Label.

Metro Label will continue to be known as “Metro Label”, for Toronto based customers and Tapp Label for West Coast customers. Tapp Label now operates from seven facilities on the East and West Coast, employs over 300 staff, and is one of the largest label companies in North America.
