Spring on 47

Thirty-five wineries and businesses along Highway 47 in Northwest Willamette Valley will celebrate “Spring on 47” April 24-25, a weekend full of wine and saké releases, food pairings, live music, and other activities. Also known as “Sip47,” the event encourages tourists to explore this alternate route, a “road less traveled,” according to Jennifer Brownstein, SakeOne Retail Director. Weekend event festivities also include library tastings  and vertical flights, a pig roast, buffalo tasting, and sangria.

The wineries and businesses are all along Highway 47, which winds through the countryside between Yamhill, Carlton, Forest Grove and Gaston.

Hours are generally 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. but may vary from place to place. Tasting fees may also vary. For more information, a map and links to each participating winery, see the website, www.sip47.com
