Cool Cats and Cabs

For the classic pairing of wine and jazz, look no further than the East Willamette Valley. On May 8, music and wine lovers alike can get their fill at this year's Silverton Wine & Jazz Festival. More than 30 jazz groups will perform at 12 venues in Silverton's historic downtown.

Some of the featured artists include: Nancy King, Glen Moore, David Frishberg, Peter Piazza, Ray Rom, Tom Grant, John Stowell, Dick Berk, Ben Darwish, Danny Seidenberg, Hank Hirsh, Ed Bennet, Rich Halley, John Moak, John Gilmore and many more.

Wineries include: Pudding River, Vitis Ridge, St. Josef's, AlexEli, Abiqua Wind, Hansen, Silver Falls, Christopher Bridge, Piluso, Kitara, plus Seven Brides Brewery.

Tickets are $25 (include a wine glass and booklet) and can be bought online or at participating downtown venues.
