City of Talent plans 2015 Harvest Festival

Talent, OR – Brought to you by the City of Talent and local businesses for over 40 years in downtown Talent, this year’s celebration is Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015.


Get ready to Discover your Talent with a full day of festivities:

n Start your day at Talent Chamber's pancake breakfast served from 7 AM to 11 AM in the BRAND NEW COMMUNITY CENTER! Along with a car show.

n Register for the 5K/10K Run/Walk at 7 AM and take off at 8 AM.

n The Grand Parade down Main Street starts at 10 AM. Live music happens on the City Hall Stage:

-  H’aena at 11 AM

-  Salsa Brava at 12:45 PM

- Maestro and The Captain’s Flat 5 Flim Flam at 2:30 PM

n Live entertainment at the Skate Park Stage

- Jill & Daryl Fjeldheim Clown Show at 11 AM

- Ballet Folklorico Ritmo Alegre at 12 PM

- ScienceWorks Show at 1 PM

n There will be growers' booths, arts and crafts, as well as historic and fun information booths a

n Visit the Harvest Home to experience apple pressing, a general produce stand as well as arts & crafts.

n Some of the areas favorite food vendors will appease your palate all day long.

n Enjoy local beer and wines to accompany your food.

n There will be many activities for children such as: rock climbing wall, clown show, face painting, and much more!

n Once again, WOW stations (Water on Wheels) will be located on the event campus as The Talent Harvest Festival continues its intention of striving towards zero waste! Bring your own water bottles for free refills.
