Sparkling wine doesn’t require a monumental occasion to be enjoyed. For Oregonians, it’s as simple as celebrating the sun when it decides to shine.
Now through Labor Day weekend, The Dundee Bistro celebrates summer with Sparkling Sundays, offering an extended sparkling wine selection of Italian Prosecco, Spanish Cava, French Champagne and American sparkling by the glass, half bottles, splits and full bottles.
Producers range from the Willamette Valley’s 2007 J. Albin Brut Rosé to Italy’s N.V. Col di Luna. Champagnes will include well-known producers such as Perrier Jouët, along with spectacular small-production growers.
“Summer is an ideal time to enjoy sparkling wine,” said Chris Berry, sommelier at The Dundee Bistro. “Its lightness marries well with summer cuisine and warmer weather.”
